TSUTAYA BOOKS No. 2, 1st floor, Art Floor 2024年08月26日(月) - 09月15日(日)
This time, Daikanyama TSUTAYA BOOKS will be holding a fair to celebrate the publication of "Contemporary Artist Ken Kagami's Recent Boughts."
This book is a compilation of the popular serial in the "Hobonichi Itoi Shimbun" magazine, in which contemporary artist Kagami Ken, who transforms social phenomena, current affairs, and culture into humorous ideas and presents his work across media, including sculpture, painting, drawing, video, and performance, introduces his bizarre shopping experiences to editor Okuno Takenori. In addition to the 29 installments of "Things I Bought," the book also includes the 30th installment, which is exclusive to the book, and a long interview that delves into who Kagami Ken is. Kagami Ken's "strange shopping" in an "era of no longer buying" gives us a glimpse into the interesting world.
In addition to the book, this fair will feature original items from the "Contemporary Artist Kagami Ken's Recent Purchases Exhibition" held at Shibuya PARCO, as well as an exhibition of items purchased by Kagami Ken that are featured in the book.
Please also enjoy the merchandise featuring a variety of happy and sad messages related to shopping.
