[Fair] Photographer Yusuke Abe's "Relagaadee" Exhibition

Photographer Abe Yusuke's collection of works, "Relagaadee," created during a month-long train journey in India in April 2023, will be exhibited and sold at the gallery on the second floor of Daikanyama TSUTAYA BOOKS No. 3.
This exhibition will focus on "Relagaadee," a collection of Abe Yusuke's works that is sold in limited quantities as a two-volume set titled "Relagaadee" and "Shanti Shanti," which compiles only events that took place on trains in India.
"Relagaadee" is a photo book that focuses on stations and trains, which until now have only been a means of transportation, and records the hectic daily life that can take place in these spaces, which are said to be the footpaths of 1.4 billion Indians.
Along with the photo book, merchandise such as camera bags designed by Abe Yusuke will also be available for purchase.

A talk event with actor Takashi Yamanaka is also scheduled to take place during the event (August 24th).

Yusuke Abe
Born in 1989. Graduated from Aoyama Gakuin University. While still a student, he traveled to Asia and Europe and began working as a photographer. He has held photo exhibitions such as "Surrounded by Rye Fields," which was shot in Nepal, where the issue of forced labor of women remains, and "Pure, Beautiful, and Strong," which depicts the lives of people living in remote areas of Pakistan. In 2019, he published a photo book of the Yosakoi Festival, "Yosarikoi." His latest photo books, "Relagaadee" and "Shanti Shanti," which document his train journey in India and the city of Varanasi, are now on limited sale.
